The Science of Cucco Spawns
New research has shed light on the age-long mystery of Spontaneous Cucco Generation. Every schoolboy knows that if you attack a Cucco, numerous additional Cucco appear to defend their brother. The Cuccos disappear sometime later and cannot be used to ‘farm’ additional Cuccos. For the first time, researchers have come up with a plausible scientific explanation.
“The Cucco form is uniquely suited to time travel. It’s why the technologically advanced Oocca genetically engineered themselves to be chickens.” Melinda Cracklespark, Court Magician, claims. “When you attack a Cucco and it survives, it travels back in time after the event five to six times to defend itself and get revenge on you.”
As evidence for her theory, Ms. Cracklespark attacked a Cucco from a distance using her magic wand. The Cucco could not see the source of the attacks, and a Cucco swarm did not appear. But when she attacked again in the line of the Cucco’s sight, twice as many Cuccos as normal appeared!
Ms. Cracklespark escaped the event with only minor concussions.
